Weather

The most talked about thing in the universe. (theres probably some glitch in our programming thats responsible for that)

It snowed today.Snow is always a welcome surprise in Israel. The reaction here is similar to the reaction a rainstorm of red and orange gumdrops would receive in the U.s. I was standing in my courtyard eating a tub of banana icecream enjoying the snow.I was so sure nobody in israel had yet discovered the joys of eating ice cream in the snow, and I see s/o walk by munching on an ice cream cone. I questioned the perpetrator(he seemed to think s/t was odd, maybe cuz I was eating it w/a knife)It came out hes english.

I'm jealous, we in the NY/NJ area haven't been zocheh yet (can you imagine chanuka vacation without skiing? It was terrible! This global warming thing is really screwing up the world!) anyway enjoy it. I bet you miss fried ice cream! Also what's you're theory?

lol, s/t about this post made me totally crack up. i would TOTALLY eat ice cream in the snow, and it's a well known fact in every 7-11 within a 10-mile radius of my house that the crazy curly-haired chick comes for her slurpees even in blizzards. i do agree with u that many english folks are strange.

oong-this is the 1st chanuka in many years that I havent gone ice skating. im almost over it now. the whole israel is blaming me 4 bringing the cold weather from america. theres no question that im responsible. my theory is that enlish ppl have a diff version of program then what americans have installed. (and need some debugging) shaina-theres s/t about eating ice cream while snow is falling all around that makes it much more enjoyable. i bet theres a scientific reason for that. slurpees r def worth it.

I had a couple of ice creams in the snow, too. Dunno why, falling snow gives me ice cream cravings. Pickles, too!

snow cones can only be gotten in the snow. same with icicles. they were the yummyist thing when I was a kid. just take the snow off the table so its clean, and don't take the icicle hanging from the car bumper or the sewer pipe.

teddy- i guess its more common than I thought. pickles are great eaten w/ice cream no blog- and yellow snow should def be avoided
