Vacation

Just got back, spent the last few days in eilat. It was time for a vacation and I took one. (having fun all the time can be tiring too) It was extremely hot and I enjoyed roasting in the 115-120 degree range weather. Here are some pics

I wanted to take pics of scuba diving, but my camera wasnt waterproof. Theres lots of cool stuff underwater. (like colorful fish, coral, and all that spiky and spongy stuff on the floor, and anchors from ships that didnt make it, and ships that didnt make it, so close yet just didnt make it, poor souls) So instead of posting a pic of me in a wetsuit and goggles I'm gonna post a pic of a friend of mine going down hard head first off his water skis. (Definitely the more humorous choice. Although I found a little nemo who was really cute and deserved to have his pic taken.)

That looks like so much fun. Although truth be told, I wouldn't want to be there when it was so hot outside. That's too hot for my taste.

ur telling me. we were dehydrated and all our water was so hot that we almost burned our tongues when drinking it. it tasted like a hot tea, just from being outside. it was awesome.

well, i'm glad ur still alive, and that you didn't shrivel up into a raisin or something. Actually, prune, cuz they're bigger. But they taste grosser, so raisin. (It's 2 a.m....)
Oh, and I got a nice nap on the 2 today...from HN all the way to Shmuel Hanavi...40 minutes straight.

I know, right!? I went to sleep at 4 in the morning, woke up at 9, and went to Geula to meet someone. I napped on the bus to my sister's house.

Was it really that hot? I heard that when it's not humid it doesn't feel that bad. Anyway, good to hear from you again.

It's not humid...just at night. During the day, it's a really dry heat. And believe me, you feel the heat. When the hot desert sun is beating down on, you feel the heat. It's intense, man. And it would be nice if more of the busses would have A/C that works...

B"H How did you deal with the heat? Was going in and out of the water a lot enough? Where did you stay? I've been dying to go, and am wondering if I should go now, even in this heat. How crowded was it? i'm serious. Please get back to me.

Actually, the last couple of busses that I've been on have had had A/C...but on the really hot days, sometimes it wasn't working and I thought I would pass out.
