Soap

Theres all sorts of cleaning products that we use for all different things. Since they all have the same purpose- to clean things, it makes sense to assume that all the different products are interchangeable.(Makes sense means to me. If you feel otherwise feel free to send a RPG toward my front door. Its the red one. Says bruchim habaim on it.Might have some scorch marks from the last RPG) I just tested this with a bar of soap. First I used it as shampoo and it worked pretty well. Then I tried it as toothpaste. It frothed up nicely and didnt taste that bad. (surprise surprise, although it could be the flavors of bars of soap I was using were better then others.) My mouth felt clean and soap scented. Once you get over the fact that its not minty its pretty cool. Then I tried it on clothes and it cleaned my clothes just as good as detergent. For a floor cleaner a bar of soap works also. Basically its all a conspiracy to get you to buy a whole shopping list of different products that you don't really need. (ok maybe toothpaste. I do like the minty taste better.)

My mom would disagree. Yesterday I went to the store to buy facewash (which I, of course, forgot to buy, but I bought plenty of other stuff) and I bought a regular bar of soap and she was horrified that I would use that on my face, but I was like, Mom, it works!!

she fell for it. hook line and sinker.

No, actually, she made me go and buy face wash. But I'll still use the bar soap sometimes.

Next time try bleach instead of toothpaste. I think they even make mint flavored ones.

I think bleach would make his teeth super sensitive, no? believe me, it's not fun having super sensitive front teeth. I can't even drink cold water.

DH: Are cleaning products interchangeable?

Dr. Evil: How 'bout "No."

How your hair managed to survive a soap attack, I don't know. Maybe it was "non-soap." Shampoo is a "detergent" and acidic (low ph); soap is basic (high ph). There's a difference.

Are you sure the soap didn't leave a disgusting mess in your hair?

reb y- not totally speechless. i got 4 words out of u.
calvin-it'd do a lot worse then make my teeth sensetive.
benyehuda- yup. it washed out nicely. im not sure y it worked. maybe the ph isnt so far apart. (cool, i wonder what ph is)

B"H pH is the measure of how acidic [or not] something is. Neutral = 7. The oceans are about an 8. Your stomach acid is about a 2. Lye is way up there.

they put lye in my soap? it didnt taste like it.
